Privacy Policy

This page explains what information riyadsbitan.com collects, why, and what you can do about it. The site is run by Riyad Sbeitan, an independent designer who makes Framer templates. If anything here is unclear, email hello@riyadsbitan.com.
What I collect
Visit statistics. I use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site: which pages are viewed, roughly which country visitors come from, which device and browser they use, and which links they click. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. Visitors in the EU, the UK and Switzerland are only counted after they accept cookies in the banner.
Newsletter sign-ups. If you sign up to hear about new templates, I store the email address you enter. The form is provided by Framer, which hosts this site, and your sign-up is sent to my inbox.
Purchases and downloads. Templates are sold and delivered by Polar (polar.sh), which handles checkout, payment and receipts, including for free templates. Polar shares your name and email address with me so I can support you. I never see your card details.
Emails you send me. If you write to hello@riyadsbitan.com, I keep the conversation so I can help you.
Why I use it
To run and improve the site, to send the template updates you asked for, and to help you with anything you bought or downloaded. I don't sell your information, and I don't use it for advertising.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies whose names start with _ga. They tell Google whether you have visited before and can last up to two years. Where your consent is required, they are only set after you press Accept. The site also remembers your cookie choice so the banner doesn't keep appearing.
You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings. The site works without them.
Services I rely on
Framer hosts the website and its forms. Google Analytics measures visits. Polar handles checkout, payments and template delivery. Each of these companies processes data under its own privacy policy, and some of them may store data outside your country.
How long I keep it
Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe or ask me to remove them. Purchase records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Detailed visit data in Google Analytics is deleted automatically after the retention period set in Google Analytics, which is never longer than 14 months.
Your choices and rights
You can ask me what information I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, or unsubscribe from emails at any time. Just email hello@riyadsbitan.com and I'll reply within 30 days. If you live in the EU or the UK, you also have the right to object to how your data is used and to complain to your local data protection authority.
